Fast tasks become faster

The Faculty of Engineering's new express service computer lab will make short computing tasks quicker and easier.

Believed to be the first of its kind for undergraduate students in Victoria, the lab provides state-of-the-art computers and printers for computing tasks taking less than 15 minutes.

Students will be able to access networked machines without the need to book or queue. But they'll have to remain on their feet - the new lab, ergonomically designed with the help of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment, will have standing access only to ensure a rapid turnaround.

Paragon Systems Pty Ltd are co-sponsors of the new express service area.
