Peninsula village

Building for a new village for 40 students at the Peninsula campus will begin in the next few weeks.

The new accommodation block will be close to the existing Bloom Street residences, which have 48 beds. Another 22 beds are located in Samada Street.

It is expected the new village will be completed by July this year.


Opportunities in Prato

Staff can learn about research opportunities available at the Monash Centre in Prato, Italy, at an information session on 14 March.

Centre director Professor Bill Kent will be on hand to discuss ways for academic staff to become involved in Prato from 1.15 pm to 2.15 pm in lecture theatre H5, building 11, Clayton campus.

Statistical consulting service for postgrads

Postgraduate research students can take advantage of the Statistical Consulting Service funded by the Monash Research Graduate School.

Postgraduates are eligible for up to 10 hours of free statistical assistance during the course of their candidature. An hourly fee will apply if more than 10 hours are needed.
