Tax seminarStaff are invited to a presentation on tax effective investments on 4 April at the Caulfield campus. Run by RetireInvest Malvern and BT Funds Management, the seminar will focus on how to take advantage of recent tax changes. It will also include strategies for wealth creation. The seminar will start at 1 pm in the Clayfield Room, Caulfield, and will run for about 45 minutes, followed by question time. A light lunch will be provided. Cost is $27 a day, or less for parents who qualify for Child Care Benefit. To enrol, call the Family Advisory Service on extn 53156. Online assessment forumStaff are invited to this year's first HEPCIT forum, to be held in the virtual tearoom in the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering on 6 April. At the forum, which is titled 'What we do and how we do it', Monash staff will explain how they built online assessment into their courses, followed by a summary and discussion. The virtual tearoom includes a video wall that allows people in two separate tearooms on different campuses to interact as if they were in the same room. The forum will he held at 2 pm in room 135, building 26, at Clayton campus, and room 58, level 5, building B, at Caulfield campus.
