Big Bangs and Body Parts

Monash theatre studies students

Monash's Performing Arts Precinct is this month performing Big Bangs and Body Parts, an educational and light-hearted look at the history and future of science and medicine, aimed at secondary school students.

The show, produced in conjunction with the Australian Centre for Youth Literature, will feature a quirky and amusing performance by Monash's theatre studies students.

Three pairs of authors and illustrators will also make presentations on the 'big bangs' or 'body parts' from their respective books.

The participating authors are Beverley McDonald, Gael Jennings and Royce Bond, accompanied by illustrators Andrew Weldon, Roland Harvey and Mitch Vane.

Big Bangs and Body Parts will be held at the Alexander Theatre at Monash's Clayton campus on Tuesday 22 May from 10 am to 12.30 pm.

For bookings, contact 9669 9796.
