Vice-Chancellor's Awards for General Staff

Nominations are invited for the Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Exceptional Performance by General Staff.

The awards recognise the contributions of general staff exceeding the normal requirements of their positions.

Heads of administrative units or staff outside a work area are asked to nominate individual general staff or work teams at Monash who have shown sustained exceptional performance for at least a three-year period.

A total of $20,000 will be distributed among the award winners who will be further recognised with a permanent citation in the university Calendar.

Closing date is Friday 10 August.

Wanted: Women's Cricket Club Requires Coach

Monash University Women's Cricket Club is searching for a cricket coach for the 2001/2002 season.

The club has two teams in the Victorian Women's Cricket Association - in District Seconds and B Grade. The applicant needs to be willing to work with players ranging in ability. Level one or an equivalent coaching qualification is necessary.

The position requires coaching twice a week during the season, and attendance at all matches. Remuneration is $1500.

SIF grant seminar

CeLTS will hold a seminar to assist prospective applicants on 29 June between 9 am and 1 pm in the Manton Rooms, Menzies building at the Clayton campus.

Attendees should have mapped out their projects and have in-principal support from the faculties for those projects prior to attending the seminar.
