Monash Memo - 25 July 2001Back to this edition's story list Monash College in demandStudent numbers at Monash College have jumped dramatically in comparison with last year's figures due to an increased demand for the college's certificate and diploma programs. According to Mr Clive Vernon, Director of Access Division, Monash International, the June intake for the Monash College Certificate increased by 80 per cent compared with figures from this time last year, while the Monash College Diploma saw an increase of 40 per cent. "The June intake is also the first time that both the Certificate and Diploma students will be taught at Monash College Clayton," he said. Previously, Certificate students undertook their programs at Taylor's College in Melbourne. Monash College offers domestic and international students guaranteed pathways into selected Monash courses. |
