Race day's winning ways

Master of Ceremonies Shawn Cosgrove chats with jockey Peter Hutchison about life in the saddle during this year's Monash Race Day festivities at Caulfield on 21 July.

Celebrating its 10th year, Monash Race Day was again a great success, with more than 400 guests joining members of the public at the event.

Caulfield campus director Mr John White said the race day recognised the strong relationship between the university, the VATC, corporate partners, local government and the local community.

"The day offers university staff a great opportunity to mix with colleagues from a range of other areas and to host people and organisations who support the university," he said.

"Staff also get the chance to network with each other and other university stakeholders on the development of a range of initiatives. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive."
