Japanese Studies Centre celebrates 20 years

A series of events have been planned as part of celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the Japanese Studies Centre, to be held from 1 to 6 November.

Starting with a dinner at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne on the evening of 1 November, the events will include a special presentation on the building extensions and new facilities currently under construction at the Japanese Studies Centre.

Also on 1 November, a forum will be held at the Monash City Centre to welcome past and new members as well as reflect on the changes in Japanese studies, 1981-2001.

The following day Monash will host the Fourth Australia-Japan Relations Symposium in the Manton Rooms (SGO1) at the Clayton campus.

For further information and to register for these and other events, contact the Japanese Studies Centre on extn 52260 or email japanese.studies.centre@arts.monash.edu.au
