London 'shop' to open soon

The Monash University Centre, London, will relocate to a newshop front on The Strand in busy central London early nextyear.

Located next to The Strand campus of King's College London andopposite Australia House, the office will guarantee Monash high exposurein one of London's most prominent financial and businessdistricts.

Pro vice-chancellor, London, Professor Richard White saidthe office would allow Monash's faculties, departments and staff toreach a wide audience of potential students and researchpartners.

"The London Centre, in its new prominent position, willdisseminate information about the university's research and teaching,with videos, photographs and brochures," he said.

"The front windowof the office will feature a plasma screen displaying attractive andinformative images of Monash."

The office will also provide Monashstaff and students in London with access to email and internetfacilities.

Formerly located at the Waterloo campus of King's CollegeLondon, the London Centre will be located on the corner of The Strandand Surrey Street. For more information, email monash@kcl.ac.uk
