Monash's newEurope Steering Group will soon address the question of where in EuropeMonash should focus its attention.

The group's goal is to identifyopportunities to establish and develop academic relationships inEurope.

To assist in this process, the university needs acomprehensive overview of the extent and nature of the links that Monashstaff (both academic and general) currently have with colleagues andinstitutions in Europe.

To gather this information, staff are beingasked to fill in a questionnaire athttp://bass.adm.monash.edu.au/statistics/aboutus/MUEL.html

The resultswill be summarised and made available to the steering group at its nextmeeting later this month. They will also be made available to Monashstaff.

In addition to guiding the steering group, the informationwill be entered into a database, which will be used to generate anetwork of research contacts. The database will assist staff inidentifying research opportunities in Europe.

The closing date forresponses is Friday 15 February.
