Language and Learning Services

The Language and Learning Services Unit offers programs on all Victorian campuses, free of charge, to students wishing to improve the quality of their academic English. Courses are available for undergraduate and postgraduate students and for native and non-native speakers of English. Courses cover written and oral expression, reading, oral presentations, listening to lectures, note-taking, and approaches to study.

Evening language courses

A 12-week evening program of language courses will be held in the Language Centre, Faculty of Arts, commencing the week beginning 3 August. Cost: $190.

Japanese language short course

'From beginners to advanced', 15 sessions, 3 August - 27 November. Cost: $230 ($185 for Monash staff and students). Inquiries: extn 52260.


M e d i t a t i o n

Animal Welfare Committee

Training courses in laboratory animal care and use will be held during the week beginning 31 August.
