Personnel Services has developed a comprehensive strategy to help keep all Monash staff up to date and informed about the administration and management of WorkCover.
The strategy is a key initiative of Personnel Services' role in administering WorkCover claims and the Occupational Rehabilitation Program.

The information is available on-line for Monash staff via the Personnel Services home page.
Any staff member who suffers an accident/ incident at the workplace resulting in an injury/illness must wherever possible lodge a WorkCover claim as soon as practicable with their supervisor/manager and support the claim with relevant medical certificates.
The supervisor/manager must immediately forward this claim together with supporting medical certificates to the Manager, WorkCover/Rehabilitation Coordinator, Personnel Services.
Personnel Services is responsible for ensuring the university's Occupational Rehabilitation Program is adhered to by:
To assist supervisors/managers to know and understand their responsibilities and obligations under the WorkCover Act, Personnel Services is presenting a module at the workshop entitled 'Leading a work team', organised by the Performance Development & Training Branch and starting on 22 May 1998. Monash supervisors/managers are encouraged to participate.
