The unit is conducting a two-part training program, 'Resolving problems in discrimination and harassment', to ensure the university meets its responsibilities under the Equal Opportunity Policy. The program will be conducted by equal opportunity officer Ms Denise Bett and equal opportunity manager Ms Margaret James.
Part 1 is for staff who would find knowledge of equal opportunity policy and processes useful in their working lives. Part 2 is for staff interested in being appointed advisers under the Discrimination and Harassment Grievance Procedures.
