Annual leave accrual change

Staff covered by the Monash University Enterprise Agreement (Academic & General Staff) 1998 can no longer accrue more than 40 working days' annual leave.

Payslips now show a maximum annual leave balance of 40 days. Further leave will not accrue until an individual's balance falls below 40 days.

Authorised annual leave forms for pre-booked leave for 1999 may be forwarded to Personnel Services for recording.

Clause 17.5 of the agreement requires the annual leave balance to be reduced to 30 days by 1 January 2000.
