Assistant treasurer in the Federal
Ministry Senator Rod Kemp last week presented postgraduate student Mr Peter
Earl (left) with the seventh Peter Kerr Scholarship at a ceremony held in
the Switchback Gallery. The scholarship is awarded in memory of the late
Mr Peter Kerr, who was a lecturer at the Gippsland campus before becoming
chief of staff to Victorian Premier Mr Jeff Kennett. At the ceremony, Mr
Earl spoke about his research on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
