International pharmaceutics award

Professor of pharmaceutics at the College of Pharmacy Professor Bill Charman has recently been awarded the highly prestigious Glaxo Wellcome International Achievement Award.

The award is made to an individual from anywhere in the world who has demonstrated through published work a substantial advancement in the application of scientific knowledge within the pharmaceutical sciences.

According to dean of Pharmacy Professor Colin Chapman, the award reflects the "commitment, dedication and scientific effort that Professor Charman has contributed to research in pharmaceutical science".
