Inaugural scholarship presented

Arts/Law student Ms Maree Lang was last week presented with the inaugural Mature Age and Part-time Students Association (MAPS) Scholarship by MAPS president Mr Jon Sumby and the newly appointed executive officer, Mr Brian Noble.

The MAPS Executive Committee has established the scholarship to encourage the participation of mature-age, part-time and distance education students in further education.

The scholarship was partly funded by the Friends of MAPS alumni group through the Monash University Alumni Association.
