Five general staff members have become the first to complete the Certificate IV in Business Administration at Monash. They received their awards last week from the vice-chancellor Professor David Robinson.
The certificate program, which is tailored to the Monash work environment, was introduced in 1998 through the Office of Indigenous Employment and Career Development, Personnel Services Division. Available to both indigenous and non-indigenous staff, the program currently has a further 25 staff enrolled.
Award recipients for the Certificate IV in Business Administration are, from left, Mr Shane Blogg (Office of Indigenous Employment and Career Development), Ms Cathy Arnott (Faculty of Law), Mrs Rosemary Bowen (Equal Opportunity), Ms Nicole Bull (Centre for Australian Indigenous Studies), and (far right) Mrs Pat Vandenberg (Faculty of Law). Ms Renee Swindle from the Works and Services Branch (second from right) was awarded the Certificate III Office Administration.
