COLLECTIONS MANAGEMENT (Function)
The function of managing the university's artwork, artefact, specimen, and other object collections. Includes selecting, acquiring, maintaining, classifying and promoting items in the collection. Also includes those collections held by departments.
For library, records and archives collections, use INFORMATION MANAGEMENT.
For the organisation and management of exhibitions of the collections, use COLLECTIONS MANAGEMENT - Exhibition Management.
