People with a disability or long term medical condition

This category is for those applicants who can demonstrate that they have a disability, impairment or long-term medical condition.

Persons providing these statements must explain how the disability or medical condition have affected the applicant’s educational performance and must not be related to the applicant.

Some examples of disabilities or medical conditions include:

  • diagnosis of severe illness
  • victim of crime 
  • debilitating illness (eg mental illness, eating disorder, glandular fever, chronic fatigue syndrome)
  • drug or alcohol addiction
  • personal injury (eg broken arm or leg)
  • mild illness during study time
  • car accident 
  • injuries impacting on study requirements

All applicants under this category must supply supporting documentation.
