Bachelor of Accounting (Clayton) Scholarships

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• studying Australian Year 12 or IB in 2009, or
• intending to enrol full-time in the Bachelor of Accounting at the Monash Clayton campus.

Selection criteria

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible Year 12 students based on their ENTER score or equivalent, application, and performance at an interview.

Value

$8000 per annum, for the duration of the degree up to a maximum of three years.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.

Number available in 2010

Variable, depending on funding.

Retention

Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment and satisfactory academic performance as determined by the faculty.

Offers

Interview details will be provided by telephone or mail to short-listed applicants during the VTAC Change of Preference period in December in 2009. Interviews will be held in late December and early January.

2010 Applications

All eligible students that have listed the Bachelor of Accounting (Clayton) degree on their VTAC preference list will be considered. Applicants must also telephone +61 3 9905 2327 to request an Accounting Supplementary Information Form and submit the completed form by 5 pm (AEST) Monday, 7 December 2009 to be considered.
