Business and Economics Achievement Awards

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or  permanent humanitarian visa, and 
• a continuing postgraduate student, and 
• enrolled in a domestic full-fee place at a Monash campus in Australia.

Selection criteria

Eligible students must have completed a minimum of 24 credit points of study and achieved a distinction weighted average mark (70 per cent) to be considered. Students will be ranked and allocated available places based on merit.

Value

Transfer from a domestic full-fee place to a Commonwealth-supported place for the remainder of the degree.

Number available in 2010

Variable, depending on the availability of Commonwealth-supported places in the Graduate School of Business.

Offers

Offers are made in July/August each year, depending on the availability of Commonwealth-supported places.

Deferability

This award cannot be deferred.

2010 Applications

All domestic postgraduate students in full-fee places in the Graduate School of Business will be automatically assessed.
