Monash-Pratt Musician Performance Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
• an international student, and
• a commencing music performance student intending to enrol full-time in either a bachelor degree or an honours degree in the School of Music at a Monash campus in Australia, and
• playing an endangered instrument as determined by the School of Music at Monash University.

Selection criteria

Awarded to eligible students based on an audition/interview.

Value

$6000 per 48 credit points of study for a maximum of one year only.

Number available in 2010

Variable, depending on funding.

Retention

Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment and a minimum of a distinction weighted average mark (70 per cent) in semester one.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
