Science International Merit Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

  • an international student, and
  • studying Australian Year 12 or IB in 2012 or equivalent, or an approved Year 12 program outside of Australia, and
  • intending to enrol in select undergraduate degrees in the Faculty of Science at the Monash Clayton campus.

Selection Criteria

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible students.

Value and number available

$3000 one-off payment for students who achieve a minimum ATAR or IB equivalent of 95 (or equivalent score for students completing an approved Year 12 program outside Australia) and enrol in the following course:

  • Bachelor of Science Advanced with Honours

$2500 one-off payment for students who achieve a minimum ATAR or IB equivalent of 90 (or equivalent score for students completing an approved Year 12 program outside Australia) and enrol in one of the following courses:

  • Bachelor of Science
  • Bachelor of Environmental Science
  • Bachelor of Biotechnology
  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • Bachelor of Arts (Global)/Bachelor of Science
  • Bachelor of Computer Science/Bachelor of Science

$2000 one-off payment for students who achieve a minimum ATAR or IB equivalent of 80 (or equivalent score for students completing an approved Year 12 program outside Australia) and enrol in one of the following courses:

  • Bachelor of Science
  • Bachelor of Environmental Science

The number available is variable depending on funding.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
