Faculty of Information Technology Domestic Postgraduate Scholarship
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must be:
- an Australian or a New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
- a commencing or continuing postgraduate (coursework) student, and
- enrolled or intending to enrol in a full-fee, on-campus, postgraduate (coursework) degree at a Monash campus in Australia.
Selection criteria
Awarded to all high achieving students that meet the eligibility requirements.
Commencing and continuing students who have achieved a minimum weighted average mark of 80%, or overall grade point average of 3.2 (4) or above will be awarded the level 1 scholarship. Continuing students must have completed a minimum of 18 credit points but no more than 24 credit points of study (excluding advanced standing) of their Faculty of Information Technology degree to be eligible.
Commencing students who have achieved a minimum weighted average mark of 85%, or overall grade point average of 3.4 (4) or above will be awarded the level 2 scholarship.
Value and number available
Level 1 - $5000 per 48 credit points of study paid towards tuition fees for the minimum number of credit points required to complete the degree.
Level 2 - $7000 per 48 credit points of study paid towards tuition fees for the minimum number of credit points required to complete the degree.
Retention
Recipients must maintain a minimum of a distinction weighted average mark (70%).
Deferment
This scholarship can be deferred.
Applications
All eligible students will be automatically assessed for this scholarship.
