John Swan Chemistry Honours Scholarship

The John Swan Chemistry Honours Scholarship is the School of Chemistry's premier award at the undergraduate level. It is awarded to high achieving undergraduate students who wish to continue their passion in chemistry through research programs offered in their honours year.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
• an international student, and
• enrolled or intending to enrol full-time in an honours program in the School of Chemistry at the Monash University Clayton campus.

Selection criteria

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible students based on academic merit. Emphasis will be placed on achievement in third year chemistry units or equivalent.

Value and number available

Up to $5000 per 48 credit points of study for a maximum of one year only. The number available is variable, depending on funding.

Retention

Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment.

Deferability

This scholarship can be deferred.

Applications

All students that submit an application for the Monash University Jubilee Honours Scholarship will be automatically considered.
