Monash University Jubilee Honours Scholarship

The Monash University Jubilee Honours Scholarship was introduced to acknowledge the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Monash University and to encourage high-achieving undergraduate students to continue into research programs.     

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

  • an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
  • an international student, and
  • completing or have completed an undergraduate degree, and
  • intending to enrol as a full-time student in a separate 48 credit point honours degree at a Monash campus in Australia.

Selection criteria

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible students who achieve a minimum of a high distinction weighted average mark (80 per cent) in previous tertiary studies. A number of scholarships will also be made available for domestic students who, in addition to meeting the criteria stated above, are from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.

Value

$5000 per 48 credit points of study for a maximum of one year only.

Variable, depending on funding.

Retention

Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment and a minimum of a distinction weighted average mark (70 per cent).

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
