Monash Mathematical Sciences Honours Scholarship
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must be:
- an Australian or New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
- an international student, and
- be commencing the Honours degree of Bachelor of Science, or the 48 credit point honours year in the Bachelor of Science Advanced with Honours, in an area of mathematical sciences* at a Monash campus in Australia.
Selection criteria
Awarded on the basis of academic merit. To be eligible students must have achieved a minimum average mark of 85 per cent in 24 points of relevant* mathematical sciences units at level-three. In addition students must have obtained a final mark of 70 per cent in each individual undergraduate unit in mathematical sciences that counted towards completion of their degree.
*Relevant mathematical science units are units used to determine eligibility for admission to honours.
Value
- $2500 per 48 credit points of study for a maximum of one year only for students who have achieved an average of at least 90 per cent in 24 points of relevant level-three mathematics units;
- $2000 per 48 credit points of study for a maximum of one year only for students who have achieved an average between 85 - 89 per cent in 24 points of relevant level-three mathematics units.

Deferability
This scholarship cannot be deferred.
