MNHS Domestic Honours Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• enrolled or intending to enrol in a full-time honours bachelor degree program* within a school or department in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at a Monash campus in Australia, or
• enrolled or intending to enrol full-time in the Master of Biomedical Science (Part 1) at a Monash campus in Australia.

* Students enrolled in an embedded honours program such as Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), Bachelor
of Social Work (Honours) or Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) should be in their final year of the degree in 2010.

Selection criteria

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible students who achieve a minimum weighted average mark of 75 per cent. Students must also demonstrate their research potential in their scholarship application as measured
by previous research involvement including, vacation scholarships, research based units, work experience etc.

Value

$5000 per 48 credit points of study, up to a maximum of one year only.
