Monash University Support Bursary
To be eligible, you must be:
- an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
- a commencing or continuing undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) student, and
- enrolled or intending to enrol in an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree at a Monash campus in Australia, and
- from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.
Awarded to eligible students on the basis of need.
Scholarships will be awarded to Year 12 students first with any remaining scholarships to be offered to other applicants.
Value an number available
$2500 per 48 credit points of study, for the minimum number of credit points required to complete the degree. The number available is variable depending on funding. In 2011, 125 bursaries were available.
Recipients must maintain a minimum of a pass weighted average mark (50 per cent).
Deferability
This bursary can be deferred.
