Former Monash University College Gippsland & Gippsland Intitute of Advanced Education

The following grades and symbols were used by the above institutions until 1 January 1993 when Monash University College Gippsland became Monash University - Gippsland Campus. The "As from 1992" Monash University grades apply from 1993 although the merger of Gippsland Institute of Advanced Education and Monash University occurred in 1990. During1994, the Gippsland campus moved to the standard Monash points system whereby a normal full-time enrolment involves subject studies totalling 48 points for the year. Transcripts forstudents who completed courses before the end of 1994 will be based on the previous system where 8.00 credit points were approximately equivalent to one year of full-time study at Post-Secondary standard.
