Commences - November 2007
Concluded - April 2008

Goals

Outputs include:

  • A Design Blueprint
  • Business Case(s) for new models
  • Implementation plan

The design of an improved shared services ICT model for Monash University will draw on the findings from the first phase of work and the strategic principles of the benefits of a shared services approach.

Existing ICT infrastructure, commitments to strategic plans and interdependencies with other initiatives currently underway at the University will be considered in the design process.

The business cases will articulate the rationale, benefits and risks of the recommended model to facilitate decision making and support of the model across the University.

Implementation plan

The implementation plan will include:

  • A project plan describing activities and timelines
  • Recommended Changes to governance and organisation
  • Communications and change management plan
  • Responsibilities and accountability for delivery
