Review of Services at Monash

An initial “Investigation of a Shared Support Services Model” was completed for the University by PA Consulting Group in December 2006. It identified opportunities for improvements to service delivery and costs based on comparison of support services at Monash with a variety of external benchmarks.

As a next step, the University will undertake a more thorough review of each service function. With a detailed understanding of business requirements and existing service provision, the University will be able to design and agree new models for service provision.

In April 2007, the Vice Chancellors Group agreed to commence design and implementation of a new Shared Services model for ICT at Monash.
