Location of Assistive Hearing Transmitters in Monash Theatres
Assistive hearing devices are installed in major lecture theatres as listed below. The system allows students who have a hearing loss to receive a clear transmission of all lecture material. This system works with a teleloop, silhouette coil, headsets, tethoclip, binaural earbuds or monaural earbuds. Headphones may also be used.
The system may be of assistance to students with a range of hearing impairments. Students requiring access to the system should contact the Disability Liaison Unit.
