Work Life Strategy
The Monash University Work Life Strategy is designed to assist staff to balance the competing demands of their Work Life obligations. The goal is to ensure that, so far as possible, the university workplace accommodates the reasonable requirements of staff members' Work Life responsibilities to facilitate their effectiveness at work.
The objectives of the strategy are to:
- promote awareness and understanding amongst management and staff of the university's flexible work options
- facilitate access to these options
- introduce new policies where required
- facilitate the development of guidelines on implementing flexible work policies
- set benchmarks against external organisations
- monitor and evaluate implemented change
