Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM)

Programs Offered by ATEM (Victorian Branch)

The Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM) is an Australasian association with around 1,000 members including managers, administrative staff and technical staff working in universities, institutes of TAFE and associated bodies.  It aims to create a fellowship of those involved in tertiary education and to provide workshops, programs, meetings and conferences to improve the professional standing of its members.

The Victorian branch of ATEM holds a series of professional development seminars, workshops and short courses.  Professional development topics typically include: Communication Skills for Women who Lead, Setting and Managing Priorities, Minute Taking, Managing Staff Performance/Behaviour, Giving Excellent Customer Service, Emotional Intelligence and the popular Middle Managers Program to name but a few.
