TeamSite for Administrators - CMS architecture & templates

| Target group: | Staff who have a role as web administrators or academic and general staff who have completed the TeamSite for Authors workshop, who wish to acquire an understanding of the CMS architecture and have a requirement to create or modify CMS templates. |
| Group size: | Minimum 4 - Maximum 10 |
| Level 1 program: | Staff must have completed the TeamSite for Authors workshop and are active in web page maintenance using TeamSite - Content Management System.

Overview
To understand the implemation of CMS templates in the Monash environment and the methods to create and modify them.
Intended Outcomes
Participants will be able to create/modify CMS templates using the professional interface within the Content Management System. Participants will gain an understanding of how the templates are implemented and tested.
Course Content
On completion of this course participants will:
- gain an overview of a TeamSite CMS web site
- gain an understanding of the CMS architecture
- gain an understanding of the Professional user interface
- learn how to restore from backups (Editions)
- learn how to create and use CMS templates
- learn how to modify and test templates
