Overview
The focus of this introductory workshop is to cover the functionality of Dreamweaver that is applicable to creating/maintaining basic web pages for the Monash environment.
Intended Outcomes
Course Content
At the completion of this course you should be able to:
- open files and work effectively with the Dreamweaver interface
- set the preferred preference settings for Dreamweaver 8
- work effectively with the Monash templates
- work effectively with text
- create and work with hyperlinks on a web page
- create and work with data tables on a web page
- insert, position pictures and images
- work with meta data
- understand the quality assurance process
- identify useful techniques for working with Dreamweaver
- consolidate the skills that you have learnt.
