| Level 3 program: | It is encouraged that staff complete this quiz. The aim of the quiz is for staff to verify that they have the fundamental knowledge expected of them before undertaking the Excel level 3 course. Staff are encouraged to complete Excel level 2 before participating in this workshop. |

On completion of this course participants will be able to:
- nest functions to create complex functions
- use advanced filters to analyse data in a list
- use a variety of data validation techniques
- create, use and modify data tables
- create and work with scenarios and the Scenario Manager
- create, modify and work with PivotTables
- combine data in separate worksheets or workbooks using consolidation
- use linking to create more efficient workbooks
- create recorded macros in Excel
- use the macro recorder to create a variety of macros
- confidently open workbooks that contain macros
