Overview
This course is designed to fast-track participants in navigating and using the new format of Office 2007 and Microsoft Excel 2007.
Intended Outcomes
To enable you to quickly become profficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Excel 2007 and common functions used.
Course Content
On completion of this course participants will:

gain an understanding of the Office Button menu and associated functions

gain an understanding of the new features in Excel 2007

learn how to use the compatibility checker

gain an understanding of Excel 2007 preferences

gain an understanding of tabs on the Excel 2007 Ribbon

gain an understanding of contextual tabs on the Excel 2007 Ribbon
- use the Formulas tab to create and manage formulas
- create, format, sort, and filter tables
- create and manage charts in Excel 2007
