Creating and editing Assignments

Target group:Academic and Professional staff, who have been assigned a Lecturer/Designer role in Blackboard, who have completed the Getting Started with Blackboard workshop, and wish to learn how to create and edit online Assignments.
Group size:8 maximum
Level Advanced level program:

Staff wishing to attend this Workshop should have completed the Getting Started with Blackboard  and be comfortable with using the Course Tools.

Overview

The focus of this Workshop is to provide staff with relevant necessary information and skills to be able to create and edit, online Assignments, and manage and grade Assignment Submissions.

  • Have the ability to create Groups using Group Manager
  • Have the ability to manage Grade Book
  • Have the ability to create and edit Grading Forms
  • Have the ability to create and edit Selective Release Criteria
  • Have an understanding of Reports and Tracking
  • Have a good understanding about Section Backup processes
