Overview
To introduce the basic functions of word processing using Microsoft Word 2003
Intended Outcomes
To use the basic functions of Microsoft Word 2003 effectively.
Course Content
On completion of this course participants will be able to:
- find your way around the Microsoft Word screen
- open, save and close documents and understand how documents are presented on the screen
- create a new document
- select and work with text in a document
- change the appearance of text using formatting features
- apply and alter borders
- create and use tab stops and leaders
- create tables of figures and text
- customise toolbars
- access and use the help system
- work safely with your computer
