Overview
This workshop is aimed at staff in supervisory roles. Participants will examine current issues around work life, factors that influence staff's decision to use or not use workplace flexibility policies, and developing a workplace culture that supports the use of flexible work options. The training is in accordance with the Monash Work Life Strategy. There is also a Work Life Session for staff.
Intended Outcomes
- Awareness of the University's flexible work options
- Knowledge of Equal Opportunity legislation and the University's obligation in regards to work life requests
- Skills in how to manage and apply flexibility in the workplace

Learning Approach
Lecturette, case studies and group discussion. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and discuss practical ways of applying the University's Work Life Strategy.
