Overview

Participants who attend this session will learn general ergonomic principles and apply to their own workplace.  Posture, equipment, organisation of work systems and processes will be discussed. This course is designed for all staff and post-graduate students.

Intended Outcomes

For staff and students to understand general ergonomic and manual handling principles and develop a safe system of work based on the hierarchy of controls and risk management techniques.
