Overview

This course is for staff and students and their supervisors who use Hazardous Substances or Dangerous Goods (chemicals) in Laboratories, Studios and Workshops.  It covers the safe use, storage and handling of Chemicals as well as the issues of waste and hazard control methods.

Intended Outcomes

Participant should understand the safe use, storage and handling of Chemicals as well as the issues of waste and hazard control methods.  Participant should also understand the regulatory and university requirements of using chemicals.
