Overview
This course aims to revitalise Health & Safety Representatives, Managers and Supervisors in terms of their roles and provides an update on recent changes to OHS legislation.
Intended Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, you will have a greater knowledge of the statutory requirements of Health & Safety Representatives as well as:
- Changes to the OHS legislation
- Changes to consultation requirements and designated work groups
- Changes to HSR, OHS Committee, employer representatives and inspector powers
- Review of decisions and union right of entry
- Accessing and using legislation and compliance codes to improve OHS
