Overview

This training is targeted to 3rd Year, Honours and PhD students and is tailored for each Faculty by the relevant OHS Consultant/Advisor, focusing on the specific hazards face by students within Schools and Departments and is essential prior to students starting. The training is available at the beginning of each semester, Jan-April, and June-July.

This training is offered to the following faculties:

  • Pharmacy
  • Engineering
  • Science
  • Art & Design

If Faculties, Schools or Departments other than the ones listed require student inductions, the relevant area representative is to liaise directly with the assigned OHS Consultant or Advisor, so the student project safety inductions can be tailored specifically and delivered for their area.

The training should be completed by the students prior to the commencement of their project.
