Annual Compliance Reporting of Performance Management (PMS) from SAP
Overview
- The University has legal requirements that all eligible staff participate
in performance management and so compliance is monitored and reported
on annually. While this reporting continues to be an annual requirement, the yearly
compliance request with staff lists will no longer be forwarded to organisational
unit heads.
- The performance management SAP module is now used by nominated staff
from each organisational unit to enter review
dates and the names of performance management supervisors directly
into SAP. Reports of eligible staff as well as incremental review and
end of probationary period dates can be generated.
- Once PMS data is entered locally, heads of organisational units will
have direct access to meaningful data to assist with performance management
in their areas, and the University will have a compliance reporting
mechanism in place through SAP.
- Commencing January 2006, the Human Resources Division will run an
annual Performance Management compliance report from SAP each January
for the preceding 12 month period, for the information of senior
management
and for triple bottom line reporting. The report will provide the overall
university rate of compliance and the rate of compliance per faculty/division.
