Intended Outcomes

On completion of the workshop, participants should:

  • feel better equipped and have more confidence with regard to seeking,  receiving and giving feedback

Course Content

During this workshop you will:

  • gain and understanding of what feedback is and how it is different from compliments, criticism, and appraisal
  • be able to identify and apply principles for seeking,  receiving and giving constructive positive and negative feedback
  • utilise several different approaches to confidently provide feedback in the workplace
  • be able to utilise some strategies to help proactively elicit feedback
  • gain an understanding of the key features of successful performance conversations at work
  • learn how to engage more confidently in the exchange of feedback in the workplace

Learning Approach

The program involves presentation, written materials, small and large group exercises, group discussion and practical examples.
