Overview

This half day workshop focuses on providing professional staff with the knowledge and understanding to ensure their full participation in performance management processes, working collaboratively with their supervisor. It provides staff with the tools for writing their annual performance and development plan.

Intended Outcomes

On completion of the workshop, participants should be able to:

  • Write annual performance and development goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time bound and agreed
  • Clarify and record annual individual work priorities that are consistent with the plans of their work units
  • Consider how these contribute to the broader goals of the university
